The world's only country that prohibits women from driving: women must go out masked
Not long ago, the ban on women driving cars in Saudi Arabia was officially lifted. Prior to this, Saudi Arabia was the only country in the world where women were banned from driving. The move means greater freedom for Saudi women and further advancement of their status. Previously, women were not allowed to drive in this country; driving was a man's right, and women could not obtain a driver's license in Saudi Arabia and would be detained if they violated it.
